Product Description

Found in citrus fruit and extensively used in the food and pharmaceutical industries as an acidifier, flavouring and a chelating agent. Citric acid is a naturally occuring weak organic acid. It is an intermediate in the krebs cycle. Stable in the anhydrous and hydrated forms, citrates are salts of citric acid.
