Product Description

Ketoconazole is an imidazole with broad-spectrum antifungal properties. Ketoconazole works by inhibiting cytochrome P-450 and preventing the biosynthesis of fungal steroids. It is present in a range of antifungal medications and is most commonly used as a topical treatment. Research has shown that ketoconazole may also have antitumour activity.
